On this date, students are celebrating Valentine´s day comparing different stories about it as well as different dates :

ENGLAND/OTHER COUNTRIES : February 14th
Students could understand that there are many legends about this date. One of them says that during the Third Century Valentine was a priest who insisted in marrying young couples secretly because the Emperor Claudius II had prohibited marriages assuming that single soldiers were better soldiers. Students had the opportunity to exchange red heart cards with different messages in English, Spanish and French. The cards were addressed to their colleagues but with different nicknames on the bottom so that they had to find out who was his or her secret friend and kiss him or her right after. Students could also appreciate special cakes prepared for them and had another good chance to know each other a little bit more.
"PEOPLE APPRECIATE OTHERS NOT ONLY FOR WHO THEY ARE, BUT FOR HOW THEY MAKE US FEEL".
