On November 1st., our CEL
School celebrated two beautiful and ecological parties.
For HALLOWEEN, the English
group shared special moments recycling cardboards, milk cartons, paper towels
in order to prepare decorative articles such as pumpkins, witches, ghosts, and
bats. During the party they had the experience of practicing few -
ROLE PLAYS - where they could play - TRICK OR TREAT with each
other, exchanging chocolates and candies. A beautiful and delicious cake made
of passionflower and chocolate was served as well as other tasty
snacks and soft drinks.
Besides, in the same classroom
students had a bilateral cultural experience shared with the Spanish Group who
also prepared an amazing decoration with all those recyclable
material to celebrate - Dia de los Muertos. The students also painted colorful
masks in their faces and had rich moments together discussing cultural aspects
of the involved cultures. The explanations were discussed in English
and/or Spanish.
Our School experience was
fantastic and for this reason we would like to invite all of you to visit our
site from time to time and check what happens here within our CEL School
